New wildlife park to begin charging guests from Thursday once last family-only day on Wed
Dubai: Free entry to Dubai safari can end on Wed,
the Dh1-billion wildlife park in Al Warqa’a five aforementioned in a public announcement on Tues.
“Thank you for your interest to visit Dubai safari. we would like to inform you that starting from Thursday, 21/12/2017, entry to Dubai safari will be with tickets,” it said.
Hussain Nasser Lootah, director-general of Dubai Municipality, had proclaimed free entry for all to the 119-hectare project for 2 weeks once it's soft opening on Dec 12.
Tens of thousands of residents have visited the new wildlife attraction that houses over 2,500 animals of around 250 species since then.
Due to the rush, the park had to limit the entry on some days to families and conjointly had to shut ahead of time most of the days after it reached its daily capability of 10,000 guests. On Sunday, it conjointly had to evacuate the guests and shut early as a result of stormy climate.
In a previous post on social media, Dubai safari had conjointly stated that the free admission would continue until Dec twenty-six.
However, it became clear on Tues that the free admission can finish earlier.
Hence, Wed is going to be the last family-only day to enjoy the free entry for families.
Featuring an open safari drive and African, Arabian and Asian villages with animal enclosures from these places, Dubai safari can still provide free entry to kids below 3, senior citizens on top of sixty and folks of determination.
All access combo tickets are priced at Dh85 for adults and Dh30 for youngsters above 3. Entry to Safari Village and to the other 3 villages even have separate tickets priced at Dh50 for adults and Dh20 for youngsters above 3, severally.
